The question
What if the key to understanding a system lies less in isolated elements and more in the relations through which those elements gain meaning?
RELATIONAL SYSTEMS THEORY
Relations before isolated objects.
RST is the developing relational foundation behind INRATIOS Structural Thinking. It explores how meaning and behaviour can change when relations and structural context are considered alongside the parts themselves.
What if the key to understanding a system lies less in isolated elements and more in the relations through which those elements gain meaning?
RST starts from the proposition that relations can be as important as the individual elements they connect. It provides the conceptual foundation for asking what becomes visible when those relations are made explicit.
Current research focuses on where a relational view adds explanatory value, where its limits lie and how those claims can be examined without turning a developing theory into a universal explanation.
RST is a developing theoretical framework within INRATIOS. The fuller research exposition is in preparation.
