The Momentum Rotation Model
Visual phase mapping for technical market interpretation
The Momentum Rotation Model (MRM) is a phase-based market interpretation framework designed to help traders recognize where the market is within its momentum rotation cycle, not when to buy or sell.
MRM organizes momentum behavior into structurally recurring phases and transition states. By combining RSI(7), RSI(21), and CCI(20) into a phase-logic structure, it provides a clean, context-first view of market conditions without signal-chasing.
Core logic (phase mapping)
MRM maps the momentum rotation cycle across the following states:
- 🔺 Phase 1: overheated conditions (momentum extreme)
- 🟠 Phase 2: momentum loss and structural rotation
- 🔻 Phase 3: deep exhaustion lows (extreme drawdown conditions)
- ⚪ Neutral: no-phase transition state (context only)
MRM does not claim prediction. It provides structural context to support clearer interpretation of momentum, rotation, and exhaustion.
