GRM JSON Handbook (v1.0)

A machine-readable framework for proportional geometry

The GRM JSON Handbook (v1.0) is the official technical guide for implementing the Geometric Ratio Model (GRM) in machine-readable formats. It introduces a standardized JSON structure for representing GRM ratios for perimeter, area, volume, and derived GRM metrics such as radius expressions and tolerance logic.

Designed for AI developers, engineers, educators, and CAD tool designers, the handbook includes:

core GRM ratios (SPU, SAU, SVU) for standard 2D and 3D shapes
validation rules and deviation classification logic
pixel-based ratio modeling for image analysis
proportional design guidelines using GRM units
schema structure and integration-oriented use cases

This work is formally registered under i-Depot (BOIP) Reference no. 151927 (May 10, 2025) and is governed by the GRM Open Usage Framework.
